Half of the funds from the Facility Fee are held in a special account for emergency facility related expenses; the balance supports growing needs to maintain our facility on an ongoing basis.

DUES CONSIDERATION REQUEST:

We appreciate that our members may support more than one synagogue. Decisions are based solely on financial need.

High Holiday Tickets at Temple Beth Am are "general admission" for any of our services in order to allow members and guests to enjoy a variety of worship experiences throughout the holidays.  TBA members are also invited to purchase extra tickets for family and friends at $350 per ticket, valid for all High Holiday Services.

Your TBA membership also includes tickets for children and youth, up to age 18, who live in your household. You may request tickets for your children to sit with you OR, you can register for Camp Keshet-style High Holiday Children's programming ($18 per child, per day).  Full registration (opening in August) is required for all drop off Children's Programming.

Please review the options below and let us know how you will participate in this year's High Holidays.

A limited number of Lev Shalem prayer books are available during services. We encourage members to purchse their own.

Children ECC (age 2 and up) through 5th grade will enjoy Camp Keshet inspired specialists and programs.

Mercaz’s mission is to further the cause for true religious pluralism in Israel and strengthen the connection between, and create engagement opportunities for, the people of Israel and Jews living in the Diaspora.  Only with more programs and resources can the Conservative/Masorti Movement touch and inspire the lives of so many Israelis who are indifferent to or alienated from their Jewish heritage. Masorti Judaism can play a meaningful role in bringing Israelis closer to their tradition and their sources. MERCAZ is an advocate for Masorti institutions and individuals in all of their efforts, projects, and campaigns.

Havurot bring a richness of Jewish experience, personal meaning and interpersonal connection to their members. A havurah is a self-run group of 6 -7 families or 10 – 12  synagogue members who gather regularly to celebrate Jewish Shabbat/holidays, lifecycle events; to learn and grow; and to have fun. Typically, a havurah will meet once every 6-8 weeks. Some event ideas include Shabbat dinner, holiday celebrations, picnic in the park, parent night out, Dodgers Game, etc.

We have TBA members who have been part of a havurah for over 25 years!

Our clergy team (Rabbi Adam Kligfeld, Rabbi Rebecca Schatz, Rabbi Cantor Hillary Chorny, Rabbi Matt Shapiro) would like to get to know you.  Feel free to discuss any topic from personal issues to religious questions and everything in between.
